Sacred Heart School would like to extend our warmest welcome to all of our new faculty and staff members!
Marisabel Cordova, Music Teacher
- Ms. Cordova is a recent graduate of Saint Olaf College with experience in youth ministry, choir, and theater. She is a skilled vocalist, plays many instruments, and is fluent in Spanish.
Jessica Swartzbaugh, Pre-K Teacher
- Mrs. Swartzbaugh comes to us from ABC Care, with great experience in providing quality academic and enrichment content to students of a variety of ages. She will be paired with Mrs. Shari Fiorino.
Kaitlyn Matias, Middle School Math Teacher
- Ms. Matias is a graduate of Sacred Heart and is returning to our campus after obtaining a Master of Arts in Teaching from NYU and working with AmeriCorps. She has experience teaching at Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys in Baltimore.
Cara Lagatare, Kindergarten Teacher
- Mrs. Lagatare is an experienced teacher with the AOB and Baltimore City Public Schools, returning to work after taking time with her children. She is a graduate of Towson University and is excited to use movement and song in her classroom.
Kristin Coleman, 4th Grade – ELA/Religion
- Although Mrs. Coleman is a familiar face around Sacred Heart as an alum and mother of three Sacred Heart students, she is now the newest addition to our Intermediate Team! Last year, she served us as a secondary school nurse and this year is bringing her Bachelor’s degree, enthusiasm and many years of experience in patient and nurse education to teaching at Sacred Heart.
Pearl Tomazar, Teaching Assistant - Grade 1
- Mrs. Tomazar is a mother of two Sacred Heart students and will be paired with Mrs. Kush in First Grade for the coming year.
Amy Belz, Assistant Principal, Primary Grades
- Mrs. Belz is returning to Sacred Heart! She previously held the position of Middle School Assistant Principal at SHG, and most recently was the Assistant Principal at Archbishop Borders.
