Dear families, just some updates for you:

• Chess Club starts tomorrow Friday 10/22 3:10-4:10 in the Art room.
• Parent-Teacher conferences will be held virtually on Friday 11/12 from 8am-3pm. Teachers will be sending a link for sign-up times. There is NO school that day.
• Halloween celebrations will be held Friday 10/29 with a rain date of Tuesday, 11/2. Homeroom teachers will be sending specific information. All students will be permitted to dress in costumes. We do ask that no masks be worn, no inappropriate, violent, or evil costumes. The primary grades will be holding a parade outside for parents to come and view. Specific times of events will be sent by teachers. 
• Friday 10/29 is a noon dismissal day.
• School mass scheduled for Thursday 10/28 for whole school (except PreK and Kindergarten).
• SHG Spirit Wear is on sale through the school website. It will close on Tuesday 10/26.
• Spelling and Religion Bee are scheduled for late fall, early winter.
• The National Junior Honor Society in 8th grade have received their letters of candidacy (48 eight graders were eligible).
• Grades 6 and 8 going on field trips Friday, 10/22.
• Picture Day is Tuesday 10/26.
• Kindergarten visited the Reisterstown Fire Department Thursday 10/21.
